It was great to catch up today with Lorna Doran, Practice Education Lead in Technological University Dublin to thank her for her support for CRY Ireland.
Lorna completed the Marathon Des Sables – the world’s toughest foot races on earth – a seven day, ultramarathon.
Over the course of a week in April Lorna ran 275KM (160 Miles) in the Sarah Desert in Morocco carrying all her supplies including food and equipment while facing extreme heat, sandstorms, the terrain and other challenges. Temperatures can each 45C (113F).
We’re incredibly grateful to Lorna who raised the fantastic sum of β¬2,735.00 and very proud to have Lorna on #teamCRY!
