We are excited to share the launch of CRY Ireland’s 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, a bold initiative designed to transform the support we provide to families impacted by Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) and Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC).
Building on our past successes this plan outlines our vision over the next five years focusing on five key pillars: Family Support, Awareness, Fundraising, Research, and Governance. This ambitious new chapter sees us expanding our services, raising awareness and increasing our fundraising efforts to reach even more families who need our support.
We remain committed to providing our services free of charge, in a compassionate, welcoming, and confidential manner, ensuring respect, accountability, and transparency in all our interactions.
Our Five Key Pillars
- Family Support: Our Family Support Programme, which has already helped nearly 500 families, is evolving into a more comprehensive system. We offer emotional support, resources, community events, workshops, and much more. Our goal is to continue to grow this programme, currently providing access to counselling and holistic services for over 100 individuals annually, with plans to expand even further by 2030.
- Awareness: Raising awareness about Sudden Cardiac Death and Inherited Cardiac Conditions, and the vital services CRY Ireland provides, is a priority. Through this strategic plan, we aim to increase understanding of these conditions and spread awareness of the critical support we offer.
- Fundraising: As a self-funded charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals, communities, and organisations to keep our mission alive. Our fundraising strategy is central to achieving our ambitious goals, and your support—whether through donations, events, or volunteering—will help us make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected.
- Research: Research is vital to understanding and preventing Sudden Cardiac Death and Inherited Cardiac Conditions. As part of our strategy, we will continue to invest in research efforts that will help save lives and improve care for those living with these conditions.
- Governance: Strong leadership and effective governance will guide CRY Ireland as we continue to grow and expand our services. We are committed to ensuring that our work is carried out with transparency, accountability, and a deep sense of responsibility to the families we serve.
How You Can Make a Difference
Fundraising will be vital in achieving our goals, and we deeply appreciate the continued generosity of our supporters. Together, we can have a meaningful impact on the lives of families affected by Sudden Cardiac Death and Inherited Cardiac Conditions. Whether through a donation, fundraising or volunteering your time, your support plays a critical role in ensuring CRY Ireland can continue to provide these life-changing services.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support.
Together, we will make a difference.
