On June 17th we shared the Skehan Family story – Jennifer Campbell had organised a fundraiser to mark her Dad Jimmy Skehan turning 70 on June 4th. Family & friends took on a challenge to complete 70km on the day, but Jimmyโs daughter Hannah, in London, put the pressure on early getting in a 22km run!
Ultimately Jen, her family, her sister Katherine & her family in the USA, as well as family and friends in Dublin, clocked up 140km!
Over โฌ5,000 was donated online and last week Jen and her parents Jimmy and Anne paid a visit to the Centre to share the amazing news that the online donation was matched! Further donations were generously made and the total donated was just over โฌ20,000.00.
