Lions club hosting a charity hillwalk
Sugarloaf Lions Club (Greystones) is holding a charity hillwalk on November 25 to raise funds for the Robert Flynn project, the Wicklow Hospice Foundation and the Sugarloaf Lions Club.
In October 2011 Robert Flynn was one of the few people to survive an attack of SADS (Sudden Adult death Syndrome). He has been severly disabled as a result. After extensive treatment in a neuro clinic in London he is now a patient in the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire where he will continue to receive treatment for some considerable time.
The cost of this treatment is a big financial burden on the family. If anyone would like to help out by taking a Sponsorship Card to raise funds or take part in the hillwalk please contact Michael Cleary, Secretary, SugarLoaf Lions Club at 087 2391938 or at [email protected].
