A young Irishman,Eoin O’Connor, together with 3 of his friends, is participating in a 300km cycle to be completed in 24 hours.
The event takes place in a town called Matala in Sweden in June. The cycle consists of a lap of lake Valten, starting at 10:30PM on Friday 13th of June. Participants have 24 hours to complete the circuit.
Commenting on the challenge, Eoin said “A friend of mine talked me into taking on the challenge for the pure enjoyment of it. Little did I know that it was 300km!
We are currently cycling 40km every day in preparation”.
CRY is one of two charities who will benefit from the proceeds.
