Well Known Irish Athlete Runs for CRY

A distinguished Irish athlete, Orla O’Mahony is running for CRY in this year’s Flora Mini- Marathon.

Orla, who hails from Ennis Co. Clare, has had a distinguished career in athletics, having competed extensively in the U.S. ,running for Boston Athletic Association and participating in Pennsylvania Relay 5km. on the Track in Philadelphia.

She has competed extensively in Europe and her most recent achievement was winning the Athenry 10km. race in April .

Orla has competed previously in the Mini-Marathon, being placed 3rd in 2006 and 4th in 2007.

“I hope to better my previous performances in June as a supporter for CRY”.

Orla is a secondary teacher in Synge St. in Dublin.
