The Information night on Sudden Cardiac Death held on February 18th. at Dublin GAA Headquarters in Parnell Park was a signal event in that it was the first event of its kind by CRY for a gathering of sports persons. Over 250 attended the event.
The presentations were followed by a question and answer session. The principal speaker was Dr. Deirdre Ward , Director of the Centre for Cardiovascular Risk in Younger Persons at Tallaght Hospital, Dublin.The other speakers were Mr.Michael Greene ,Chairman of CRY and Mr. Greg Leonard, Past Secretary of Erin’s GAA Club.
