The PURE STYLE fashion event held in aid of CRY, in association with House of Fraser on Friday 13th March was a tremendous success – with fashion and fun being had by all 340 guests at the sell out inaugural event!
MC Brendan Courtney, style guru from RTE’s “Off the Rails”, welcomed and guided guests through the House of Fraser’s definitive guide to Spring/Summer 2009.
The fashion show included all the latest colours and trends for the Spring/ Summer collection 2009 from some of the top designers at House of Fraser including – Helen McAlindon, Lauren, Claudia Strater, Untold, Episode, Jaeger to name but a few.
A raffle and auction took place also and there were some amazing prizes to be won including – Luxurious B&B spa break in Frank Sinatra Suit at the Royal Marine Hotel, A fabulous 18ct white gold ring with diamonds from Boodles, A bouquet of flowers every month for a year from the exclusive florist Appassionata, A Luxurious Dolce & Gabbana watch and a weekend break in The Brehon, Killarney, to name just some of the items taken home by the lucky guests.
The Fashion show combined with the raffle and auction made an astounding over €17,000 that will go directly to CRY.
The CRYP Centre completed in November 2008 will be using the monies raised to run the centre so that it can screen and support families affected by sudden death.
