SADS Support Group Christmas Memorial Ceremony
- 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Once again, this year in December the annual memorial ceremony to remember our young people who have lost their lives to Sudden Cardiac Death will be held. It gives us a quiet hour, or so to reflect and remember together amidst the hustle and bustle around us in December.
The ceremony take place on Sunday the 10th of December at the later time of 2.30pm in Monkstown Church of Ireland Parish Church, Dublin. The church is on the Monkstown Road, which is the main Dublin to Dun Laoghaire Road. Afterwards there will be tea and biscuits in St Patrick’s parish hall across the road from the church
The ceremony is about remembrance and support and we welcome everyone, regardless of your religious beliefs.
During the service there will be a candle lighting ceremony in memory of those we have lost. If you would like to, please bring along a framed photo of the person you have lost. We would like to stand the photos on a table in the church.
Christmas can be a difficult time for those of us who have lost loved ones. This memorial ceremony gives us the opportunity to remember those we have lost and meet others who have suffered a similar loss.
Please come along with your family and friends.
If you have any questions about the memorial, please contact Tracy Egan, Irish Heart Foundation on 01 6685001 or email: [email protected]
