Come along on an epic walking tour that will take you on a magical journey, following the Footsteps of the Celts, back through time as we discover the highlights of the mystical Slieve Gullion mountain and its surrounds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

This guided hike will take you through all the highlights Slieve Gullion mountain and its Forest Park has to offer, from the enchanting Giant’s lair trail, where the fairies live, up the mountain slopes along paths and tracks to the very summit of the mountain, 576m high. You’ll be able to explore Ireland’s highest surviving passage tomb, which is older than the pyramids; you’ll even be able to venture inside.
From the summit, you’ll journey across the summit of Slieve Gullion (please bare in mind this can be quite muddy, so come prepared) to the Bronze age north cairn before descending the mountain on the Camlough lake side and returning around the base of the mountain to the forest park, stopping along the way to visit more ancient sites.

Throughout the tour your guides will delight you with tales of fire and ice, mythology and history; a tour not to be missed.
