Croagh Patrick Climb – In Memory of Rory Dell
- 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Paula Dell & Mark Carrick and their extended family traditionally climbed Croagh Patrick for CRY and it was an annual event on our Calendar.
We were delighted to get the call from Paula to confirm that this challenge is back for 2022.
Saturday 18th June will see them return to Westport and climb Croagh Patrick, remembering Rory.
A little about the Challenge;
Croagh Patrick is one of Ireland’s most stunning mountain climbs with its unique conical shape towering above the edge of the Atlantic Ocean on the rugged west coast. On a clear day, it offers panoramic views of the hundreds of tiny, green drumlin islands in Clew Bay, the Wild Atlantic Way, the gorgeous tourist town of Westport and surrounding mountain ranges. It’s better known as Ireland’s ‘Holy Mountain’ or ‘The Reek’ among locals.
A huge challenge that will see them reach 764m approximately 7Km and a minimum of 3-4 hours return.
