The Damien Ruth Memorial St Stephens Day Soccer Tournament made a comeback on 26th December 2021. On behalf of the Ruth Family and CRY Ireland thank you to everyone who signed up to play – full capacity on the day!
This year the family received a donation of an incredible prize from one of their biggest supporters Rosie Cairns of a football signed by the legendary Paul Mc Grath (without doubt one of the greatest Irish players of all time). All players on the day and anyone who made a donation were entered be entered into a raffle and ultimately Ross Smith took it home.
The day was a huge success (check out the images sent to us by Amy!) and raised the incredible sum of €4,620 online through #JustGiving and donations on the day and €500 was donated to Slievenamon Christmas Climb’s collection for #ADreamForDanny and the remaining €4,120 was donated to CRY Ireland.
