Last weekend the fantastic group behind the Kevin O’Flynn Fundraising Page held their last training day in the Fermoy Community Youth Centre. They trained 8 people from Fermoy (the O’Flynn home town) in CPR and First Aid in conjunction with the HSE Community Health Worker.
The group are working in the area since 2016 and over the last 5 years they’ve raised enough funds from walks and football tournaments to purchase 4 Defibrillators for Clubs and Centres around Cork City and County and provided free training to approx. 40-50 people in CPR and First Aid Skills.
Their work is complete and the remaining €450.00 was donated to CRY by The O’Flynn Family to CRY Ireland in memory of Kevin.
We’re very proud to have Shane and the family on #teamCRY and thank you for your incredible work locally and with CRY.ie. Some pictures below from the event👇
