New York Marathon 2018 $13,000.00 raised for CRY and Concern
Thank you all so much for the overwhelming amount of support you gave to me to make this dream a reality. Since my Dad passed , I’ve always wanted to do something in memory of the amazing man he was, so running the New York Marathon and setting a fundraising goal of $10k seemed like the perfect way. It was a challenge that tested me physically and mentally but it goes without saying that he worked his magic and got me through the race without much pain! Thanks to my friends that came out on race day to cheer me on and special thanks to T,K and for managing my Mum’s nerves and making it an unforgettable and special day for my family.
Thank you to Concern for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their team, it’s an honor to be a part of an organisation that does such incredible work in the poorest corners of the world. @Cry Ireland I hope this $10,000.00 will help families and friends that are affected by sudden adult death and help raise awareness of sudden adult death syndrome.
Finally, thanks to Ballyvaughan Community for the pub quiz, to my friends in NYC coming out for the Bingo/Date auction and for all of the generous donations across the globe to help me exceed my fundraising goal. Without all of your support, none of this would have happened.
Thank you xo
