Thursday 26th January saw the Irish Travel Agents Association host their Irish Travel Industry Awards in the Round Room in the Mansion House, Dublin. Over 500 attended the black tie event and Miriam O’Callaghan MCd the event.
Through the generosity of the Association the proceeds of the raffle from the night were donated to CRY and Brendan O’Mahony, Clonmel Travel spoke on the night and told his story of the death of his son Conor who died from SADS aged 32 on July 25th, 2006. Brendan along with Margaret, Kevin, Finbar, Brian and the extended family are fantastic supporters of Cry and true friends.
Over €9,000 was raised at the raffle on the night and donated to Cry – huge and sincere thanks to Brendan (pictured below with Margaret) for sharing your story and your continued support of what we do. #FriendsOfCry
Thanks also to Mr. Cormac Meehan, President ITAA, and Mr. Pat Dawson, CEO ITAA for their support and nomination of Cry to receive the charitable donation.
