Friday the 26th March, with the support of Keith Noyes, Manager of The Underground at Kennedy’s of Westland Row saw a night of ROCK in aid of CRY which saw young talented musicians perform on the night. The event was MC’d by Padraig Murray.
Pictured are some of the bands that performed on the night – ‘Gone Gonzo’ (formerly We Are Pirates), Zylo and Blue Fever. Also pictured are Frances Jones, Colm Cummins, who organised the night and Frances & Colm’s son Alex who performed with his band ‘Gone Gonzo’. Paul Noyes managed the door and the finances on the night.
Alex and his bandmates Ollie Moyles, Fergus Cahalane and John Gilbride are all pupils of St. Michael’s in Ballsbridge and the evening was supported by friends, pupils of St. Michael’s and family. Over €600 was raised on the night for CRY. Michael Greene, Chairman attended the CRY AID and gratefully accepted the funds on behalf of the Charity.
