Chair of CRY Ireland Kevin O’Dwyer is delighted to welcome Jack Mulholland and Niall Miller ACA as the charity’s newest Trustees of the Board.
While both will be joining the Board of Trustees, Niall will also take on the role of Treasurer.
Jack Mulholland, a qualified solicitor, is currently Group General Counsel with Applegreen and Niall Miller, a chartered accountant, is Vice President, Commercial Aviation with Minsheng Financial Leasing.
Jack previously worked and trained at A&L Goodbody for eight years and holds a Business and Law (International) degree from University College Dublin. He has a close personal connection to the charity, having accessed CRY’s cardiac screening and genetic testing services at the Cardiac Risk in Young Persons (CRYP) screening centre at Tallaght University Hospital following a cardiac arrest in 2016 at age twenty-five.
Before taking up his current position, Niall qualified at KPMG and went on to work in Grant Thornton for four years. He holds a Commerce degree from University College Dublin and completed a master’s degree at UCD’s Michael Smurfit Business School.
Speaking about his new appointment, Jack said: “Having experienced first-hand the amazing supports and services CRY Ireland provides, I’m honoured to join CRY’s Board of Trustees and look forward to working with the charity as it builds on and continues its vital work.”
Also reflecting on his new position, Niall said: “I am delighted to be appointed as trustee and treasurer at CRY Ireland. It’s a wonderful opportunity to work with a charity that supports those affected by sudden cardiac death and the diagnosis of an inherited cardiac condition and I’m excited to contribute what I can in this new role”.
Welcoming the announcement, CRY Ireland Chairperson Kevin, said “We are very pleased to appoint Jack and Niall as our new trustees.
