AN INVITATION TO A VERY IMPORTANT EVENT!

To all our Trustees, Volunteers, Fundraisers, Families, Friends and Supporters of CRY.

On Saturday March 26th 2011 we are hosting a very special event.  The venue is the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 22.  Commencing at 10:30am and terminating at 3pm. Light refreshments will be provided to all those attending.

The purpose of the event – to review the current level of service provided by CRY and the Centre for Cardiac Risk in Younger Persons at the Adelaide & Meath Hospital in Tallaght, Dublin 24.

We are at a critical point in the development of our support services to the community.

It is relevant to re-state CRY’s original objectives which were to:-

  1. Raise awareness of cardiac risk in young persons through media campaigns and public information meetings
  2. To provide counseling and support to families and persons affected by the condition
  3. Support the development of a National Screening Centre where families and individuals at risk could be evaluated

2011 is, we feel, an appropriate year to review our performance.   WE NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROCESS – to tell us openly and honestly how you think we have measured up to our objectives and how we could do better.

The meeting will address the immediate funding requirement for the Charity and the Centre and outline the medium and long term plans for the development of the Centre and the funding implications.

Speakers are: Mr. Michael Greene, Dr. Deirdre Ward, Ms. Nicola Harper, Fionnuala Kelly and Marie Greene.

CRY regards this event as the most critical since its’ foundation and therefore requests as many of our friends as possible to attend.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE  put the date in your diary – Saturday 26th March 2011.

Further details on the event will be forwarded to you at a later date.  If you intend to be present at the event could you kindly confirm by email to [email protected] or by texting Lucia at 087 753 7553 with your name and numbers attending.

If any of your friends who are not familiar with the work of CRY and the Centre wish to attend we would be delighted to see them too – we just need names and numbers.

I look forward to seeing you on the day.

Yours sincerely,
MGsig
