We’re delighted to confirm that the Annual Neil Ryan Memorial Run/Walk is back on New Year’s Day 2023, in person. The event starts at 9.30am at Leighlinbridge Church. The family shared their story with us. Please read on;

The Annual Neil Ryan Memorial Run/Walk is back on New Years Day 2023 and this time we are finally having the event in person again, the first time since the 2020 event! We will be raising funds for the amazing CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) Ireland and the link to donation page is below. Some may know that my dad passed away on 29 Dec 2018 from an Ascending Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) in his heart, which he didn’t know he had, at only 40 years old. Unfortunately, AAA usually don’t show any symptoms until it’s too late so it’s very important that everyone gets checked for them. He was a very fit man who was passionate about running, so every year on New Years Day we run/walk in memory of Neil. CRY helped out family hugely after my dad suddenly died and for that reason we are trying to raise money for this amazing charity. We’re so excited to see everyone again, I hope you can all make it!
