A perfect Mother’s Day gift-to CRY❤️
James, Daniel and Patrick Murdock, from Warrenpoint in Co Down, have been constant supporters of CRY (Ireland) since their cousin, Kevin Fegan, died suddenly in 2010.
This year, they donated £125.00, which they would have spent on a gift for their mother to support CRY.
Eldest brother James explained, “My mother, Deirdre, and Aunts Ciara and Orla, were geared up to attend the Pure Style fashion show two weeks ago. CRY (Ireland) took the brave decision to postpone it, at a time before social distancing became widespread. We know that CRY (Ireland) depends on major events like the fashion show to support their operations, so clearly this was a costly decision. So we figured the Mother’s Day gift could take a hike this year, and we’ll donate the few pounds to our favourite charity. Mother won’t mind, as she too is a big supporter of CRY.”
Kevin, and his twin brother, Ruairi, used baby sit the boys, and the full story of what went on when the 5 cousins got together has still never been told!
Mother Deirdre is a sister of our Chairman, Tommy Fegan.
The Chairman is sure his sister will survive without the customary gift this year!
