We have dedicated this area to pay special tribute to the extremely generous people who have made a contribution to CRY. It is because of these amazing people that CRY is able to keep our doors open as we do not receive any government funding. All at CRY would like to express our sincerest thanks to everyone who has provided us with support.
Pictured recently in Tesco Ireland - Newcastlewest, Limerick is Clare O'Donovan (Monagea) collecting €536.23 as part of the Community Fund. Pictured with Clare are Donal Claffey, Store Manager, Amanda Dalton, Checkout Manager and Sara McMullan, Stock Control Manager.
How does the Community Fund work? It all starts with the blue tokens that you get in your local Tesco when you’re paying for your weekly shop. At the end of each eight week period, the tokens are counted and up to €1,000 is shared proportionally between the three good causes in each store on display according to the number of tokens.
So THANK YOU Clare for nominating Cry in Newcastlewest and thank you to everybody who supported Cry by donating their "blue chips" to Cry.
