We have dedicated this area to pay special tribute to the extremely generous people who have made a contribution to CRY. It is because of these amazing people that CRY is able to keep our doors open as we do not receive any government funding. All at CRY would like to express our sincerest thanks to everyone who has provided us with support.
Our picture shows students from Loreto Secondary School in Navan and their teacher Kay Hayes presenting Orla Durkan with a cheque for €4,085. The students created Project Sunflower, lead by Leah Hughes, which raised money for CRY in the memory of their friend Ruth Maguire who died suddenly at the age of 14.
The students sold Key Rings with a Sun Flower theme. They also designed t-shirts and sweat shirts with the Sun Flower theme on them. The money they have raised will go towards a Holter device which is one of the devices used in the screening tests. CRY want to thank all of the girls and their teacher for all of the time and effort they have devoted to this project. Ruth’s Parents and her brother Luke were so grateful to the girls for all of their hard work also.
