CRY were delighted to have 50 ladies taking part in this years Evening Echo Cork Mini Marathon. There may have been a couple of men thrown in there, but they were so nicely dressed it was hard to tell!! The weather held up and the day turned out to be mostly sunny. We were delighted to see so many people running in memory of our trustee Fionnuala Quigley. Michael and Marie Greene along with Orla Durkan welcomed guests back to the Clarion Hotel for refeshments and food.
Many of the ladies taking part had lost either a relative or friend to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome and understood the importance of raising funds for CRY to keep our services open. Michael Green presented Sylvia O'Conor and Karen Murphy with a CRY pin to thank them for sharing their stories in the Newspapers, which helped to raise huge awareness for CRY. He also presented a pin to a representative of Michelle Cahalane for her efforts to date.
CRY would like to thank everyone who took part and for the money that was raised.
