Our annual Pure Style Fashion Lunch in association with Arnotts was held on Friday 22nd March in the Shelbourne Hotel. Fashion Guru Brendan Courtney successfully hosted the event for the second time to a packed audience of 350 ladies, while Dr. David Mulcahy, Project Director at the CRYP Centre in Tallaght entertained the ladies with his usual wit and charm while reminding everyone what the fundraising event was in aid of.
The afternoon began with a champagne reception followed by a three course lunch. Arnotts showcased their spring/summer collection in their fashion show. Guests were treated to fantastic goodie bags provided by Arnotts aswell as amazing raffle prizes. CRY were delighted that Applebys, who recently opened a boutique in Arnotts, donated a beautiful piece of jewellery worth €2,500 for our golden ticket raffle. One of the highlights of the day was when the Downton Abbey signed Poster and album were auctioned. These were kindly donated by Alan Leech who plays chauffer Tom Branson. Alan was in Peter Greene’s class in school and his mother Kay Leech was there on the day to present this prize.
CRY would like to thank our main sponsors Arnotts as well as Applebys along with all of our other kind sponsors. A huge thank you has to go to all of the ladies who gave so generously on the day.
