Calling all our female supporters! Fancy getting fit while raising money for CRY? How about running or walking the Flora Mini Marathon on Monday the 3rd of June 2013. The Flora Mini Marathon is the biggest all-women’s event of its kind in the world. We are calling on all our friends to join us and walk, jog or run to make Mini Marathon Memories with CRY and raise funds and awareness for CRY Ireland (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
This year we are aiming to double our numbers to help us to retain the level of service that the Centre in Tallaght Hospital offers. We are hoping that all of those ladies who took part in 2012 and previous years will return, and that each of you will encourage at least two or more friends to join the CRY Team too.
RTE sports presenter, Jacqui Hurley, alongside model and TV presenter Daniella Moyles, joined the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Naoise Ó Muirí at the Manson House to encourage women to sign up to take part in this year’s Flora Women’s Mini Marathon in aid of CRY.

This year CRY has launched a new Facebook page called CRY Dublin Mini Marathon, which will support and encourage all those undertaking the marathon in aid of CRY. Darren, Simon and Louise from Fitlinks Fitness will supply fitness tips, advice, articles and couch to 10k fitness plans regularly on the Facebook page.
The Women’s Mini Marathon really is a fantastic event – why not recruit a CRY Ireland team in your workplace or local community? We can supply you with the posters and help with your fundraising efforts. It is a great way of bringing women together and raising money for CRY Ireland.
