CRY hosts Christmas Country Ball

Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY - is appealing to people all over Ireland to have a BALL at their inaugural Christmas Country ball on Friday 27th November.  CRY are hosting their “Christmas Country Ball” fundraiser in the luxurious Ardenode Country House Hotel, Kildare.  The black tie event, one not to be missed includes a delectable 4 course dinner (wine included) and great musical entertainment from Funky Junction along with many exciting prizes to be won in the raffle.

Michael Greene, Chairman CRY said;

“This year we are hoping that our supporters will all come together to celebrate CRY.  We are working hard this year to raise crucial funds for the CRYP Centre to ensure ongoing care for patients and families.  We thoroughly appreciate people’s support – which is so essential to keep the centre running”.

All monies raised from the ball will go directly to The CRYP Centre, which officially opened last November. The Centre aims to screen a minimum of 1,600 young patients annually free of charge.   It is solely financed by fundraising activities and generous donations that are all of which essential to keep the centre running. The CRYP Centre is the only one in the country to offer a full-time service dedicated to evaluation of inherited heart disease and cardiac disease in younger persons.
