2009 Dublin City Marathon

CRY would like to give a huge thanks to Stuart Cinnamond who took part in this year’s Dublin Marathon.  Stuart took part in memory of his friend Marcus, who died suddenly in Thailand just over a month ago and to raise awareness for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

John O'Hagan also completed the Dublin City Marathon for CRY and CRY would like to take this opportunity to thank Stuart and John for their participation in the marathon which raised both funds and awareness for CRY.

A big thanks also goes to Chris Mooney who took part in the Dublin City Marathon in aid of CRY, having to endure some very painful blisters after 10 miles. He kept going through the pain even though he knew he wasn’t going to get finished anywhere near the time he wanted….it was obviously more about finishing and the charity than anything else!

Well done to all!

This year was the 30th anniversary of the Dublin Marathon and it was a great day with a fantastic turnout of supporters and the atmosphere was buzzing.  Please see photos from the event & from John’s and Stuart’s progress during the race:
