A well supported Inaugural 'Have A Heart' Ball took place in aid of CRY at Dublin's Shelbourne Hotel on Friday October 3rd.

Almost 400 guests attended and enjoyed a lovely meal and dancing to the George Hunter Band.

After a brief DVD on the aims of CRY, Dr David Mulcahy welcomed everyone and outlined the work to date and hopes for CRY and its' new screening centre at Tallaght Hospital. CRY Chairman Michael Greene thanked all those in attendance for their valuable support both on the night and in getting CRY to its present stage of development. He also thanked the Committee for organising such a well-supported Ball.

Michael paid tribute to CRY's special guest, Dublin's Lord Mayor Eibhlin Byrne. Just some of the wonderful raffle prizes included a specially hosted meal in the Mansion House as the top raffle prize and tickets to Leinster Rugby & Manchester United sporting matches.
